Developer Advocate

Abbey Labs is building a toolchain that enables DevOps/DevSecOps engineers to securely manage access to sensitive systems.

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for a developer advocate to help make Abbey Labs a trusted name amongst infrastructure engineers. We’ll do that by creating content that is useful and engaging with engineers where they live.

What you’ll be doing

  • Connect Abbey Labs to the developer community, making Abbey a great solution for infra engineers
  • Produce content — blogs, videos, talks, and starter kits — that sticks, promote our brand, and grows a community of raving fans
  • Be an active partner in developing our roadmap by bringing community feedback to our product and engineering teams

What gives you an edge

  • Prior experience building with and using Terraform, GitOps, or other IaC tooling and processes
  • A prior track record of successful brand-building with technical products
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally across engineering, product, sales, and our customers

  • We pay at the 75th percentile for both base salary and equity (relative to other companies our size and your role)
  • 5 year exercise period on stock options (instead of the typical 90 days) if you're no longer with us

  • Everyone is currently in the office 3 days a week, but we would be open to remote for the right candidates
