GTM Lead, Founding Team

Abbey Labs is building a toolchain that enables DevOps/DevSecOps engineers to securely manage access to sensitive systems.

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for our first Go-to-Market hire to help market and sell our access governance platform at Abbey Labs. We’re looking for an athlete; someone who can easily flex between marketing, sales, and customer support in order to get our platform in the hands of early customers. If you are scrappy, a hustler, enjoy doing things that don’t scale, and want help guide a venture-backed startup through the product-market fit journey, then this is the role for you.

What you’ll be doing

  • Partner with our CEO and CTO and own all things sales and marketing at Abbey Labs, ranging from our GTM strategy to product marketing to sales, and all the things in between
  • Articulate the major features and benefits of Abbey informed by user research, competitive research, and a real understanding of how product works
  • Contribute to our our major customer-facing assets, including our website, docs, pitch decks, and demo videos
  • Build and enable a team

What gives you an edge

  • A prior track record of selling or marketing technical products, particularly in infrastructure and security personas
  • Prior experience building with and using Terraform, GitOps, or other IaC tooling and processes
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally across engineering, product, sales, and our customers

  • We pay at the 75th percentile for both base salary and equity (relative to other companies our size and your role)
  • 5 year exercise period on stock options (instead of the typical 90 days) if you're no longer with us

  • Everyone is currently in the office 3 days a week, but we would be open to remote for the right candidates
